Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment

Reverse osmosis water treatment is a pressure difference to drive a membrane separation technology, with a separate high, no phase change, simple and efficient characteristics. Reverse osmosis membrane “pore” has little to nanometer (1nm = 10-9m), the scanning electron microscope can not see the surface of any “filter” hole. Higher than the osmotic pressure in the operation of raw water pressure, water molecules can be reverse osmosis through semi-permeable RO membrane, production of pure water, while a large number of inorganic ions in raw water, organic matter, colloids, microorganisms, such as being the original RO membrane heat retention.

Reverse osmosis water treatment equipment is usually raw water pretreatment system, reverse osmosis purification systems, ultra-purified processing system composed of three parts. The main purpose of preprocessing is to make raw water to reverse osmosis membrane separation component of the water required to ensure the stable operation of reverse osmosis purification system. Reverse osmosis membrane system is a one-time 98% of raw water to remove ions, organics, and 100% of micro-organisms (in theory) the most cost-effective means of purification. Ultra-purification treatment system integration technology through a variety of reverse osmosis pure water to further remove the remaining trace ions, organic matter and other impurities in order to meet water quality objectives for different uses of the final requirements.

Pretreatment of reverse osmosis water treatment equipment systems usually polypropylene fiber (PP) filters and activated carbon (AC) filter form. Higher on the hardness of raw water softening resins need to install filters. PP water filter can effectively remove the original machinery of more than 5μm particle impurities, and the large jelly rust pollutants, such as protection of the follow-up filter, which is characterized by large pollutant, low price. AC carbon filter can be efficiently adsorbed chlorine and some organic matter in raw water, colloid, the protection of polyamide reverse osmosis composite membrane from chlorine oxidation. Softening resin can be removed most of the raw water calcium and magnesium ions to prevent scale buildup in follow-up RO membrane surface, improve water recovery.
