Water treatment membrane processes can be divided into (RO), ultra filtration (UF), micro filtration (MF), Nan filtration (NF), electro dialysis (ED) and the membrane contactor (MC), etc. In water treatment membrane process, membrane components are made from the form required for the separation of cell membrane separation device, commonly used in industry, plate membrane form, tube type, spiral type and hollow fiber type.
Compared with conventional separation techniques, Water treatment membrane processes have the following characteristics:
1) Water treatment membrane processes are separable or even hundreds of thousands of molecular weight of substances for the efficient separation process.
2) The basic water treatment membrane processes do not occur “with” changes, low energy consumption, energy conversion rate.
3) Water treatment membrane processes can be carried out at room temperature for heat-sensitive materials such as fruit juice, enzymes, drugs, separation, classification and enrichment.
4) Membrane water treatment equipment, fewer moving parts, simple structure, operation, control and easy maintenance.
5) Water treatment membrane separation efficiency, equipment, small size, covers an area of less wide application.
